- Messages are only stored locally on your device and the recipient's device

To provide our services, BitcChat requires the following permissions:
- Bluetooth permissions: To discover nearby devices and establish connections
- Bluetooth admin permissions: To manage Bluetooth settings
- Location permissions: Required by the Android system for Bluetooth scanning
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Enable peer-to-peer communication between devices
- Display available nearby BitcChat users
- Maintain your connection history for convenient reconnection
- Improve app functionality and user experience
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure proper app operation
Your messages are transmitted directly between devices and are not processed or stored on our servers. This peer-to-peer architecture enhances privacy by eliminating the need for centralized message storage.
3. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
BitcChat is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not:

- Share your connection history or device information with advertisers
- Have access to your message content, as it's transmitted directly between devices

3.2 Legal Requirements

BitcChat stores your connection history and user preferences locally on your device. This information is retained until you:
- Delete your connection history through the app settings
- Uninstall the application
Message content is stored only on your device and the recipient's device, and we have no ability to access or delete these locally stored messages.

You have the right to:
- Access and modify your profile information within the app
- Delete your connection history through app settings
- Control your Bluetooth visibility and connection settings
- Uninstall the application, which removes all app data from your device
6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
BitcChat is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.
7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app and on our website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted.
